Cold War Kids – Complainer (Studio Performance)

Cold War Kids ‘ impassioned music aims directly at the head and the heart. The indie rockers from Long Beach, CA first grabbed attention with “We Used To Vacation” and “Hang Me Up To Dry” from their 2006 debut, ‘Robbers & Cowards,’ and have built a huge following in the past decade. At this point, frontman Nathan Willett and his troupe are in a groove – incessantly writing and touring with ease. When they swung by Vevo we got to catch up with them about author Richard Rohr’s book “Falling Upwards,” the “bluesy stomp” of 2017’s “Love Is Mystical,” and feeling like outsiders in L.A. Stripped down versions of new songs “Complainer” and “Beyond the Pale” (off CWK’s newly released ninth studio album, New Age Norms 1) put Willett’s signature vocals front and center.
